AI Search Optimization (GEO)
Make your brand quotable when customers ask an AI assistant.
What this is
This is not classic SEO for Google - it's optimizing your presence so your name is mentioned and cited inside AI assistants and AI Overviews. When a potential customer asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude about a service you offer, we work to put your name inside the answer. We structure your content and data in the form these engines understand and trust. This is our forward-looking differentiator.
What's included
- AI presence audit
- Citable content creation
- Structured data setup
- Brand mention and authority
- AI Overviews optimization
- Engine visibility tracking
AI Search Optimization (GEO) — the questions we actually get asked.
What is the difference between traditional SEO and optimising for AI engines?
Google gives a list of links for the user to choose from; an assistant gives an answer and either cites a source or doesn't. In the first you win on ranking; in the second you win by having the sentence the assistant quotes present on your page verbatim. The practical consequence: a vague page written in marketing language doesn't get quoted, however well it ranks.
Can visibility inside assistants be measured?
Partly, and less honestly than in Google. Site analytics shows visits arriving from an assistant as a referral source, and that is a real number. How often you were mentioned without anyone clicking is not measured directly — it is checked by asking assistants real questions and recording who gets named. That is a snapshot rather than a counter, it shifts, and so it is repeated periodically.
What makes a page quotable?
An explicit sentence saying what you do and for whom, written the way people ask rather than the way agencies describe. A question-and-answer structure, because an assistant looks for a ready answer rather than a paragraph to infer from. And clear numbers or limits instead of generalities: "we write each language from the idea, not from a translation" gets quoted; "integrated marketing solutions" does not.
Is an llms.txt file necessary?
Useful, not magic. It is a plain-text summary giving an assistant a clean description of who you are and where your main pages sit, instead of making it infer that from the markup. But it does not compensate for weak content: the assistant quotes your pages, not the file. The file makes you easier to find; the content is what gets quoted.
